ReMarket FleaMarket Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ReMarket! By participating in any of our events, all traders agree to the following terms. These guidelines are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone — from stallholders to customers and our team.

1. Communication, Confirmation & Payment

Once your booking and payment are confirmed, setup instructions will be sent via email during the week of the event.

Stall placements are allocated in advance by our team and must not be changed on the day.

All payments must be made online. We do not accept cash.

Please note: All bookings are final. No cancellations, refunds, or credits will be issued under any circumstances.

2. Market Day Expectations

Please arrive on time and follow all setup instructions provided.

Keep your display within your allocated pitch area.

Be respectful and courteous to other traders, the public, and our staff.

Clean your space thoroughly before leaving and take all waste with you.

Traders are expected to remain for the full duration of the event.

Early departures must be approved in advance and are only permitted in exceptional cases.

3. Stall Setup, Safety & Equipment

No equipment is provided. Traders must bring their own gazebo, table, chairs, and display fixtures.

All electrical equipment must be PAT tested and certified.

Gas appliances and food or drink sales are not permitted.

No power is provided at events.

Walkways must remain clear at all times, and all displays must be safe and secure.

Stalls must not present any risk or hazard to the public or staff.

4. Conduct & Behaviour

ReMarket is a family-friendly event. Any offensive or inappropriate content must be covered or removed.

Abusive language or behaviour — in person, online, or via email — will not be tolerated and may result in a ban.

Repeated lateness or no-shows (3 or more in a year) may result in exclusion from future events.

Leaving early without notifying staff is not permitted unless pre-approved.

5. Risk & Insurance

All traders must hold valid public liability insurance.

If you employ staff, employers’ liability insurance is also required.

Traders are responsible for assessing risks, including fire safety, structural stability, and trip hazards.

6. Waste Management

Traders must take all trade waste with them at the end of the event.

Venue/event bins must not be used for trader rubbish or packaging.

7. Security & Belongings

Traders are fully responsible for their own belongings.

ReMarket accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

8. Legal & Product Requirements

All products must comply with UK laws and regulations (e.g. cosmetics, jewellery, labelling, safety standards).

The sale of real fur or animal-based products is strictly prohibited.

Counterfeit or illegal goods are not permitted under any circumstances.

9. Licensing & Compliance

Traders must comply with all relevant local authority regulations, including necessary licences or permits.

All goods must meet UK trading standards.

10. Accessibility & Inclusion

We are committed to running inclusive and accessible events. If you require any adjustments or support, please let us know in advance.

11. Cancellations (Trader or ReMarket)

All trader bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Once booked, no cancellations or credits will be issued.

If ReMarket cancels an event, an alternative date will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.

12. Weather Disruption

Our events run in most weather conditions. In cases of extreme weather, we will notify traders as early as possible if the event must be cancelled.

13. Music & Sound

No music, speakers, or amplified sound is allowed at stalls unless previously approved by the ReMarket team.

14. Social Media & Promotion

We encourage all traders to tag @ReMarketMCR on social media for potential reposts and extra exposure.

ReMarket may use images of stalls/products for marketing. If you prefer not to be featured, please let us know.

15. GDPR & Data Use

Trader business names may be used in promotional material.

If you wish to be removed from our records, please contact us in writing.
